How I Plan to Make 60 Eco-Changes in Two Months!

As someone who often aims to educate others about how to live in an eco-friendly fashion, I know that it is best to lead by example. As such, I’d like to announce to the online community that I will be performing an mini project to show how possible it is to live an eco-conscious lifestyle!

Here’s how it works: Each day, starting on July 1st, I will be making a post on http://kyleempringham.wordpress.com about the daily eco-challenge I’m making in my life. The ideas all come from Vanessa Farquharson’s “Sleeping Naked is Green” book, which lists 365 changes she made in her life. At the end of the two-month period, I will have made 60 eco-changes to myself! I will also be posting about why I’m making each change, why it’s important to me, and if there were any challenges with making the change.

I don’t expect that everyone does the same. I really do understand that some of these challenges might be harder than others to complete. My aim here is to gain a better understanding of social barriers to eco-concern, and from there, to understand how we can combat those barriers in order to helps others make the change.

If you’d like to see the list, check out the blog’s site. I’d love to hear any comments, questions, or suggestions you may have!
