Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Corbett, recently signed HB 1950 into law, which allows counties the freedom to charge natural gas companies “impact fees” to drill inside their boundaries. What Governor Corbett won’t tell you is that the law also robs residents of their political voice and silences potentially damning medical evidence against the fracking process.
Inspired by the 70 year-old Winston Churchill quote: “In the long run, Americans will always do the right thing — after exploring all other alternatives.”

So my foray into the world of wormeries didn’t go quite to plan. In my over-excitment I grossly overfed them in the first few weeks. Bewildered by the vast amount of food being heaped on them they panicked and buried themselves into the soil, refusing to eat a thing while the growing pile of my vegetable odds and ends were being mercilessly heaped on above them.

I had the idea to do this cartoon last October after reading this article on EcoSnobberySucks. But when I read in the latest issue of Mother Jones Magazine that Komen has long denied the toxic impact of bpa on human health, and after the recent Planned Parenthood debacle, I had to pile on, I mean finally draw the cartoon.
Pacha’s Pajamas, a new musical story about a little girl named Pacha who saves the environment with the help of the world’s plants and animals, and includes an illustrated book, soon-to-be-released album and upcoming “Nature SuperHero” app designed to bring music and storytelling together to share important messages about the environment and inspire positive action.
