Soap with a Cause

The use of soap is something we generally put little thought into. It is accessible almost anywhere and as long as it does its job of keeping us clean, we’re happy. But, what if there was a way to purchase this basic necessity and share that happiness with a war-torn community in another country? A way that by making just one choice we could loosen the ties of  a community enslaved by its most profitable resource and bring equality to a multi-gendered company.

Conscience Beauty

Beauty products are designed to do just what the title suggests– to make us beautiful. Or at least feeling that way. But, often times the effects the ingredients have on the planet are so damaging, that it’s ironic we consider them safe enough for something as delicate as our skin. Thousands of synthetic chemicals are added to products like face cream, lotion, shave gel and shampoo, yet few of them are tested for safety. They are absorbed in into our bodies, and then washed down the drain to be recycled into drinking water.
