Being a model green citizen isn’t just about taking personal responsibility for daily actions, it’s about working with the people around us to expand our collective knowledge and enrich the community we all call home. Sharing is one of the most powerful adhesives to the foundation of a community. We all have stuff we don’t need, whether it’s an old bike, an extra sleeping bag, more compost than we can use, whatever; we can eliminate over consumption of merchandise and cut down on waste that will inevitably end up in landfills by working with our communities for a solution with a positive impact on the planet.
